Although it's not directly related to traveling, I feel that this is an important concept to remember. How often do you hear excuses from friends and family as to why they can't travel? Or why they can't do the things they want to do in life, whatever they are. Do you want to travel but you say you can't? Figure it out. The rest of us have. Be the hero of your own life.
